On entering through the gates, the first sight of the convent buildings is gained after passing the lodge.
The view from the lodge is very similar today, the main difference being the School Hall on the left which was built in 1966, and the view of the convent buildings is now obscured by bushes.
Main Avenue about 1910
Moving further up the avenue, the hall and main school building come into view.
Main Avenue in 1937
The main difference here is that the large tree at the end of the Avenue has gone.
